FLATPICKING GUITAR MAGAZINE'S WEBSITE
Flatpicking Guitar Magazine
is a bi-monthly periodical, and companion audio CD, dedicated to
presenting all aspects of the art of flatpicking the acoustic guitar,
as pioneered by such great guitarists as Doc Watson, Clarence White,
Norman Blake, Tony Rice, and Dan Crary. Our goal is to help you
increase your own skill level and enjoyment of this fine art as it
pertains to the musical genres of bluegrass, old-time, folk, Celtic,
Western swing, gypsy jazz, new acoustic music, and acoustic rock.
To
that end, the magazine primarily focuses on guitar instruction. We also
feature articles on rhythm guitar playing, guitar building and
maintenance, and we also review flatpicking CDs and instructional books

| In May of 2008, Flatpicking Guitar
Magazine launched the Flatpicking Guitar network.
The
network is a place specifically for flatpickers to discuss, explore,
and learn about flatpicking. It allows you to more directly interact
with other flatpickers.
We've posted
events,
photos, videos, music, links to our podcasts, and we will continually
update it with flatpicking news and reviews. In addition, there are
various interest groups on the network. If you like what you see, we'd love to have you join
us!

the past few years, Flatpicking Guitar Magazine has been running the
Flatpicking Guitar podcast where we feature interviews with and play
select tunes from the top flatpickers in the U.S. and across the world.
